After we have finished Corinthian Challenge on the 18th February, and after Easter, we will be embarking on a new challenge as a church.
We will be meeting for a series of mid-week sessions that are designed to explore Bishop Robert Schnase’s book “Five Practices of Fruitful Congregations”. This will enable us to look at the work we do as a church and how we can engage with the community in which we serve, whilst looking at how we can be more fruitful.
The five practices that Bishop Schnase outlines in his book are:
You are very welcome, indeed are encouraged, to come along to as many sessions as you can to explore these practices and what things we should be doing, and potentially what we shouldn’t be doing, to make our mission better in Guisborough.
The series starts on Thursday 21st April followed by Wednesday 4th, Tuesday 10th and Wednesday 25th May. All start at 7.15pm and will be at Guisborough Methodist Church.
