Evangelism Weekend – 9th/10th April

We are so very fortunate to have a visit on the weekend of April 9th/10th by Revd Paul Wilson, Development Worker for Methodist Evangelicals Together (MET). Paul began this role in September 2012, after 22 years of circuit ministry, which included periods serving as District Deputy Chair, Synod Secretary, Circuit Superintendent and on the Methodist Council. His role as development worker, funded by MET, seeks to provide a resource to develop the evangelical witness in Methodism.

So on Saturday the 9th April Paul will be leading us in looking at Evangelism.  The draft programme is as follows:

10.00am Welcome and Opening worship

10.15am Session 1: Anointed Ambassadors

11.15am Coffee

11.45am Session 2: Christ-like Character

12.45 pm Lunch

1.45pm Session 3: Marginal Mission

2.45pm Closing Worship

3.00pm Departures

Paul will then meet informally on Saturday evening with the Stewards and members of a new mission forum/committee convened by James and Peter.

On Sunday morning Paul will be leading our morning worship looking at ‘Everyday Evangelists’ and will be present afterwards for a short time for informal chat as we share in a Faith Lunch.

You are very welcome to join us for this special empowering and equipping weekend.
