For primary aged children we have a number of groups that meet offering varying activities and opportunities to make friends and build current friendships:
An after-school club at Sleights Court on the North Guisborough (Wilton Lane) estate for those in upper primary and lower secondary. Games and crafts with a Christian meaning.
Sundays at 10:30am, meeting during the church’s morning worship. Looking at the Bible in a fun and creative way, through crafts, games, videos and songs. When the church celebrates Holy Communion our children also join in (if you want more information about your child and receiving holy communion please speak to Peter Barley)
Through our partnership with the Bridge we are able to assist local primary schools in the delivery of their RE and PSHE syllabus. When we have visiting mission teams (from the USA) they also get involved with the local primary schools – often sharing about the cultural differences between their home area and Guisborough.
We are looking at expanding our schools work and hope in 2016 we will be able to assist more schools in the local area.
